Our Community Clinic is associated with general preventive practice run by one or several general practitioners. The type of practitioners at a minimum will include physiotherapist, acupuncturist, chiropractors, and clinical psychologist to take care of mental health. It does not dispense prescription but is often a first line of defense in the prevention of communicable diseases. If a nurse is available, then this clinic can also administer vaccines. Our community clinic also has specialists from other medical disciplines, such as optometrist who come in on a regular basis to help support the local community. Community clinics also practice in the non-patient care roles such as health policy, health insurance, health care administration and as health care executives.
